Paul Favret has a long list of accomplishments in the energy, oil, and gas industries. He accumulated about 115,000 acres and an interest in more than 384 additional wells, as the former CEO and founder of Resource Energy through prior business purchases.

 

He is also a former president of Abundant Resources, Aspect Energy, and First Reserve and a key shareholder in those companies. He has had significant success in shale fields as a former primary owner of Abundant Resources. The corporation purchased 185,000 acres under his supervision.

 

Mr. Favret possesses a B.S. in Geology from Western Carolina University, magna cum laude in Geology and Geophysics from the University of South Carolina, summa cum laude, and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston, summa cum laude.

 

Beyond his immense successes in the energy industry, he continues to pursue personal success and social good. Besides flourishing in real estate investing and private equity, he is a loving husband to his wife and is the father of two Eagle Scout boys, with great support to the American Scouts. He believes strongly in the importance of education and actively encourages its progress through various philanthropic efforts. He has continued to fight for programs that enable underprivileged Denver County youngsters to attend school.
